Education: Pennsylvania State University (B.A., 1967); University of Virginia (J.D., 1972). Associate Editor, Virginia Law Review, 1968-1969.

Recipient: Pennsylvania Bar Association Pro Bono Service Award, 1988 and IOLTA Recognition Award, 1992; Lycoming Law Association Equal Access to Justice Award, 1989. Law Clerk to the Honorable Malcolm Muir, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, 1972-1974.
